Serpong – In support of sustainable environmental efforts and aligned with the implementation of ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, Telkomsigma carried out a Sansevieria (snake plant) planting initiative as part of its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The activity took place in the open area of the 4th floor at Graha Telkomsigma 2, BSD (22/4).
This symbolic green action was led by Telkomsigma’s President Director, Dwi Sulistiani, accompanied by Director of Finance and Risk Management, Rina Susanti, and Leader of Forsikatel Telkomsigma, Lenny Wayan. The event was also attended by senior leaders who joined in witnessing the planting process.
Beyond its symbolic meaning, the activity represents Telkomsigma’s concrete step toward cultivating a greener and more sustainable work environment. Snake plants, known for their ability to absorb pollutants and produce oxygen, reflect the company’s efforts to improve indoor air quality and reduce its carbon footprint.
Held under the theme Jejak Hijau Srikandi, this initiative seeks to instill a culture of environmental awareness within the organization and inspire broader community involvement. Coinciding with Earth Day, this initiative underscores Telkomsigma’s ongoing commitment to contributing meaningfully to sustainable development in Indonesia.
