Tangerang - As a concrete commitment to environmental conservation and coastline sustainability, Telkomsigma collaborated with the Teach For Indonesia (TFI) Student Community at BINUS University to hold an environmental event titled Greener Day 2026: "Adopt A Tree: Grow Beyond Today" Located at Madhato Beach, Marga Mulya Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency on 08/15/26.

The event began with an educational presentation on proper mangrove planting techniques led by a local expert. After the brief education, the dozens of volunteers, including Telkomsigma employees and BINUS University students, immediately headed to the coastal area.

Each volunteer was given mangrove seedlings and planting equipment to independently and sustainably plant the seedlings at the designated locations. This concrete action serves as an aspect of the Environmental pillar of the company’s ESG principles implementation while also providing sustainable value for Telkomsigma through its contribution to climate change mitigation and ecosystem restoration efforts.

Through this collaborative effort, a total of 500 new mangrove seedlings were successfully planted. With The Greener Day 2026 program, Telkomsigma and BINUS University wish this initiative continue to exist and extend beyond the Mauk coastline and also inspiring the public through concrete actions and a continued commitment to environmental sustainability.


This event acted as a platform for collaboration to raise awareness and concern for coastline ecosystems free from trash also reinforces Telkomsigma’s and the academic community’s active role in consistently promoting environmental sustainability and mitigating climate change in Indonesia.
