Strengthening Digital Security Capabilities, Telkomsigma Conducts OWASP Top 10 Workshop

Jakarta – Telkomsigma continues to strengthen the foundation of digital security as part of its sustainable business strategy by hosting the OWASP Top 10 Awareness & Secure Development Practice Workshop at Graha Telkomsigma 2, BSD (February 12).

The workshop is part of the company’s strategic initiative to integrate secure development practices throughout the entire digital solution development lifecycle. By adopting global security standards from the OWASP Foundation, the program aims to enhance internal capabilities in proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating application security risks.

The session featured experts from PT Cynnex Integrasi Solusi (Cynnexis) as the keynote resource, with participation from 25 cross-functional representatives across Developer, Cyber Security, and Operations teams. This collaborative approach reflects Telkomsigma’s commitment to strengthening integrated security governance by embedding security as a strategic component from the early stages of system design (secure by design).

The workshop covered key security vulnerabilities highlighted in the OWASP Top 10, emphasizing both the technical characteristics of modern application threats and their potential implications for business continuity and corporate reputation. Participants also explored the importance of implementing layered preventive controls (defense in depth) to enhance system resilience against evolving cyber threats.
