Bridging the Gap: Telkomsigma Mitigates Risk Through the Strategic Role of Risk Champions

Serpong – To mitigate potential future risks, the Governance and Risk Management (GRM) business unit conducted a socialization session on Refreshment Risk Management and Update Risk Register 2025 with Risk Champions from all business units. The session was held online on February 7.

The event was officially opened by Rina Susanti, Director of Finance & Risk Management, who emphasized the importance of effective risk management across all business units. "Each business unit at Telkomsigma must be equipped to identify and manage risks specific to their functions, including operational risks, data security threats, and risks arising from regulatory changes and market competition. These risks can significantly impact the company's operations and performance, and thus, require dedicated attention and mitigation," she stated.

During the core session, Berlian Katamsi, VP of Governance and Risk Management, led discussions on enhancing the application of risk management tools, particularly FREDERICA, and the critical role of Risk Champions in overseeing risk management across the company. The goal of this session was to empower Risk Champions to make meaningful contributions to risk management within their respective functions, in alignment with management’s strategic direction to ensure Telkomsigma remains compliant and poised for future growth.
