Empowering the Next Generation of IT Talent, Telkomsigma Equips UIN Jakarta Students with Strategies to Navigate Future AI Challenges

22 May 2026 - by Admin

Serpong – As part of its commitment to fostering digital talent development in alignment with the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma) delivered strategic insights on the future of technology transformation to lecturers and students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

During the company visit, Telkomsigma hosted a keynote session titled “The Composable Enterprise: Master Builders of the 2030 Tech Workforce,” presented by Nuzli Latief Hernawan, VP Infrastructure & Cyber Security Delivery Operation at Telkomsigma. The session provided participants with valuable perspectives on the rapid evolution of technology, highlighting the transition from conventional systems toward autonomous, AI-driven ecosystems powered by Agentic AI.

In his presentation, Nuzli emphasized that organizations today must adapt quickly to the accelerating advancement of artificial intelligence. He noted that many traditional enterprise technology investments struggle to deliver optimal value due to the increasing complexity of AI integration. As a result, organizations are expected to evolve toward an AI-Native System of Action a system designed from the ground up with AI as its core engine for business operations and decision-making, rather than simply adding AI features to legacy systems.

The session also outlined a technology architecture roadmap for 2026–2030, covering five key transformation pillars: Compute Strategy, System Architecture, AI Integration, Data Management, and Cybersecurity. Beyond technological readiness, Telkomsigma highlighted the importance of embedding sustainability principles into future digital systems to ensure greater adaptability, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Closing the session, Nuzli shared insights on the competencies required to thrive amid the growing global demand for technology professionals. According to him, the rise of AI will reshape workforce requirements, shifting many traditional roles toward more strategic and high-value positions.

“The re-engineering of the future workforce will transform traditional roles into more strategic professions, such as AI Platform Orchestrator and Composable ERP Consultant. As routine analytical tasks become increasingly automated by AI, the greatest value of human talent will lie in critical thinking, emotional intelligence, adaptability, causal inference, and the ability to ensure AI governance and model interpretability,” said Nuzli.

The company visit was organized to support the development of the Information Systems curriculum while broadening the perspectives of both faculty members and students regarding professional work environments, corporate culture, and the implementation of Enterprise Systems Services within the information technology industry.

Through this initiative, Telkomsigma hopes to contribute to the development of future-ready digital talent equipped with strong systems thinking capabilities, multidisciplinary knowledge, and the skills required to navigate AI-driven transformation. The program is also expected to help students strengthen both their technical expertise and soft skills, preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in the information technology industry.
